Charlie is a life long resident of Hereford and is currently a member of the Hereford City Commission.  He is a graduate of West Texas A&M University. Prior to opening Charlie Kerr Realtor Inc. in 2002, Charlie was a teacher in the Hereford ISD.  He and his wife Kathie have two children, Amber and her husband Eric; Christopher, his wife Sabra and granddaughter, Keelan.
